Delete your RaceBuddy account
This page explains how to delete your account for Race Buddy – How fast are you? (the RaceBuddy app) and the data associated with it. The app is published on Google Play and the App Store by its developer Mousecode, which operates it at rbuddy.io.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (immediate)
The fastest way to delete your account:
- Open RaceBuddy and sign in.
- Go to Profile and tap the edit (pencil) icon.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account and associated data are permanently deleted.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email office@rbuddy.io from the email address associated with your account, with the subject “Delete my account.” Requests are verified and processed within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your profile — name, email, username and avatar
- Your drag runs, Lap Timer sessions, vehicles and related telemetry
- Your leaderboard entries
What may be retained
- Aggregated or anonymized statistics that can't be used to identify you
- Records we are legally required to keep — for example transaction or tax records. These are retained only for the additional period that applicable law requires (for tax and transaction records this can be up to several years), after which they are permanently deleted.
